Accessibility statement
Updated 15 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to build a CV with CV Atlas, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What should work
- Every step, field and button can be reached and used with a keyboard. The steps move with the arrow keys; dialogs close with Escape.
- Form fields have visible labels; dates are chosen with month and year menus rather than a free-text box.
- Text and controls meet AA contrast in light and dark mode, and the layout works when zoomed to 200% and on a phone.
- The interface respects your system settings for reduced motion and high contrast.
- The photo can be framed with the arrow keys and + / − as well as by dragging.
Known limitations
- PDF files made with “Download PDF” are not tagged. Screen readers can read their text, but not the headings and reading order. If you need a tagged PDF, use Print or Save as PDF in the download options: most browsers create a tagged file that way. The Word (.docx) download is another accessible option.
- The live preview is a picture of your CV pages; the same content is in the form fields, which is where screen-reader users should edit and review it.
- The interface is in English only for now. CV headings are available in 16 languages.
Report a problem
If something doesn’t work for you, email hello@aounzia.com with the page, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
How we tested
The site was checked with keyboard-only use, browser accessibility tools, and at phone and desktop sizes in light and dark mode. A full audit against WCAG 2.2 AA is part of the launch checks.
